Timber

Logs are transformed into timber by being sawn, hewn, or split. Sawing with a rip saw is the most frequent method since it allows for the use of lesser grade logs with uneven grain and huge knots and is more cost effective.

Finished lumber, primarily softwood from coniferous species such as pine, fir, and spruce (collectively spruce-pine-fir), cedar, and hemlock, but also some hardwood for high-grade flooring, is sold in conventional sizes, largely for the building sector. Softwoods are used more frequently than hardwoods, with softwood representing for 80 % of all lumber produced.

We provide timber logs from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Ecuador, Chile, and the West Indies, among other places.

We mostly deal in the following types/species of wood: Teak, Keruing, Merbau, SelanganBatu, Meranti, Kapur, Resak, Arau, Pyinkado, Pinyau and Pine
